Joint poem. written by other person and me. we remain anonymous.. cos it's the internet.

the sky filled my lungs

and I rested

exhaling grey ravens

and breathing in the lonesome doves

my eyes shattered and my vision fogged

and then I sat, broken hearted

with a torn photograph and watercolors

with my cheek an unloved Rembrant

i painted my escape upon the walls in my heart i drowned my brushes in red

and painted a smile on my lips

the lips that tied the knot

as i choked on the words i won't ever say

and I hung on love forgot

rushing towards an endless sleep

Fun Descriptions.. I got bored.

The words dripped from her mouth like pearls-elegant and striking. She raised and lowered her cigarette airily like a significant wave or gesture to an imposer, beckoning them forward. (fun starts here) Her lips lulled in lazy licks pouring out pampered precociously paragraphs. Her sentences stirred seductively then suddenly shifted, souring into a sneer as she spat sparks of gossip from so innocent a face. (end of fun) And that sweet smell of vanilla that once hovered around her movements turned putrid as she threatened at the necks of all those enticed by her facade.

(author notes..hahaha)
i probably should take out all those fun things, but i really think they are cool.

She whistled out an almost circuitous string of words. It hung in the air like smoke from firworks-the aftermateh of a lost breathing thing melting slowly into the universe as she coaxed her story to life once more.

Challenge: Write a poem on the fly (30 sec.)

I saw the ghost of a smile in your shadow
as I wrote your name in the sand.
We held hands on the beach
but you soon slipped from my vision.

I was dragged in..

One Version of Love:

We sang love songs
As blood curdled in our mouths
Saliva stretched itself over words
Starved of art, we drank wine
We mutually craved the other--
A carnivorous ripping of the flesh
I held your heart in the last scraps of skin
Until you stole my breath away.

But all they saw was hate.
